Chocolate chip cookies, warm from the oven, may be one of the best dessert treats ever created. They are simple to bake and wonderful to eat.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Come in a Whole Lot of Styles

Chocolate chip cookies are an irresistible treat – and extremely addictive! There are many different variations on this theme, from chocolate chip cookies that are made with white chocolate chips to chocolate chip treats that are made using semi-sweet or dark chocolate. There are also versions that are topped with fruits, such as strawberries or even ice cream.

You can make a pie or tart using a Graham cracker crust for a chocolate chip cookie treat or combine equal parts flour, sugar, baking powder and chocolate chip for a delicious chocolate chip cookie with a hint of mint or vanilla.  You could also choose to make double chocolate chip cookies, which are equally soft and light as single chocolate chip cookie dough.  Mixing different types of chips will make the difference, white or dark chocolate chips can be added with the usual semi-sweet.  Make sure you have the basic tools needed for baking cookies, this will make your baking experience a lot easier.

For people who want to go all out, you can use carob, almond, and/or walnut powders to add a bit of extra flavor to your chocolate chip cookies. You can also experiment with different types of nuts by substituting the chocolate chips with some of your favorite nuts, or by making other types of cookies and pastries.
